What is a business process?
Each transaction you initiate (via TSM self-service or manager self-service) follows a series of steps to complete the transaction. This is called a business process. Some transactions (i.e. promotion) require hierarchical approvals in order for them to be approved. Some personal transactions may require the attention of your HR Business Partner for compliance verification (i.e. legal name change) before they are considered complete.
How does Workday benefit our Managers?
Managers will have direct access to view and maintain all job-related information for the TSMs who report to them, including the ability to view detailed compensation data. Managers will be able to initiate, review, approve and track all job related transactions (i.e. transfers, promotions, adjustments, etc.) that were previously processed using paper forms. They will also have access to reporting, analytics and dashboards, to help them manage their business.
