When to Use This Functionality
Onboarding is initiated by the Workday hire process for all new hires and rehires into Workday. There is no action required by the manager. The process moves new hires through a series of steps to complete onboarding tasks. As a manager, you will receive email notifications with additional information and items you may need to complete for your hire.
Highlights of Process:
- Access to complete onboarding tasks is given to new hire upon their record creation in Workday.
- New hire can review/update personal information provided during the recruitment process.
- Consistent electronic distribution of tax and other forms to new hires for completion.
- Electronic review and acknowledgement of Henry Schein company policies.
- I-9 form and eVerify verifications completed electronically.
Manager Highlights:
- You will receive an email reminder when a new TSM is about to start on your team. This email contains information you need to know to request the applicable information system access and equipment required for your new hire.
